Our Field Experience to Decatur is Wednesday, November 16. Thank you for sending in the permission slips and lunch form. Please if possible wear your orange Westchester shirt on the field trip day so that we will be dressed alike. Please email me with any questions.
Last Friday we got ready for voting in our room. The 5 finalists were determined and a ballot was created as well as a voting booth. The children really enjoyed decorating the box, I mean the booth! The children voted and received an official voting sticker. Ms. Gordon did the counting and the two-headed Alien was the winner. We are now in the process of figuring out how to transform the drawing into a stuffed animal for our classroom. We had a lot of fun going through the voting process. The children even gave a short speech explaining why their picture should be picked. We continued this week to discuss Thanksgiving focusing more on what we are grateful for in our lives. Thank you for sending in the papers about your Thanksgiving plans. We have learned so much about different traditions. The children decorated signs to advertise our Canned Food Drive. They are learning so much about collaboration.
